StageMix supplies Genelec monitors to Wings Entertainment

StageMix Technologies has supplied Wings Entertainment with a 3-channel monitoring system based on Genelec 8341A White SAM Studio Monitors in an LCR configuration.

The monitors form part of the brand’s The Ones range and use a coaxial 3-way design, with the midrange and treble drivers positioned around the same acoustic point. The system has been supplied for Abani Tanti, sound engineer and studio head at Wings Entertainment, for critical listening and audio production.

The 8341A combines Genelec’s Smart Active Monitoring (SAM) and GLM calibration technologies with its Minimum Diffraction Coaxial (MDC) and Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) designs. GLM provides calibration of the monitors to the listening environment.

Each 8341A features dedicated amplification of 250W for the bass driver, 150W for the midrange and 150W for the treble. The monitor has a maximum SPL of 110dB and a frequency response of 38Hz–37kHz (-6dB).
