RØDE gives LPA1 room to manoeuvre

RØDE’s new LPA1 can carry up to 2kg while extending 750mm across a desk, giving heavier broadcast microphones, cameras and other studio equipment a low-profile mounting option that stays below the camera line.

The all-metal arm provides 90° upward and 60° downward adjustment, 360° articulation and an integrated ball mount, allowing equipment to be positioned above or below desk level. Its 2kg capacity makes it RØDE’s highest-capacity studio arm and supports end-address and side-address microphones ranging from the company’s PodMic and Procaster models to large-diaphragm condensers such as the NT1 series.

Integrated cable management routes XLR and USB cables along the arm, while the supplied clamp accommodates desks up to 70mm thick. Compatibility with 1/4-inch, 3/8-inch and 5/8-inch threads extends its use beyond microphones to cameras, lights and other studio accessories. The LPA1 is currently available in black, with a white version to follow.
