HK Audio expands Beats Light & Sound inventory

Delhi-based Beats Light & Sound has invested in HK Audio equipment for its live sound inventory, with the order supplied by Indian distributor HiTech Audio Video.

The 56-unit order includes 24 Cosmo C 10 loudspeakers, 12 CS 218 subwoofers, eight CX 12, four CX 8, four CX 210 LT and four Polar 12 MK2 systems. Notably, according to HiTech Audio Video, the Cosmo system is the second to be sold in India.

“The sale of the second Cosmo system in India is an important milestone for us,” noted Manik Gupta, director of HiTech Audio Video. “Beats Light & Sound’s investment shows the growing appetite for high-performance live sound solutions here. We’re delighted to see Cosmo gaining ground and look forward to supporting the team as they put it to work.”

Andrew Kirubakaran, application engineer at HiTech Audio Video, said the combination of products would allow the rental company to configure systems for different productions: “One of Cosmo’s strengths is the flexibility it gives a rental company. With this inventory, Beats Light & Sound can put together systems to suit a wide range of venue sizes and production requirements. We can’t wait to see it out at their events.”
