Epson establishes MENA regional headquarters in Riyadh

Saudi Arabia:

Epson has established a new MENA regional headquarters in Riyadh, expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia after more than 15 years of operating in the Kingdom.

Located in the Olaya District, the regional headquarters will serve as a hub for customer engagement, collaboration and regional operations, while supporting Epson's plans to strengthen local service levels, distribution relationships and its presence in sectors including education.

Ryo Tachimori, vice president of business operations for Epson Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, Central and West Asia (META-CWA), will lead operations in Saudi Arabia as general manager. Suat Ozsoy, vice president of commercial operations for META-CWA, will serve as regional director, supported by Saudi Arabia country manager Husam Alzughayyar. Together, the team will oversee strategic direction, business operations, marketing and financial performance.

The move forms part of a wider investment programme across the META-CWA region, with Epson allocating more than US$13 million to facilities and infrastructure. Between 2022 and 2024, the company said its regional facilities investment increased by 28.6%, while personnel investment rose by 45%.

“We are honoured to have been granted the official Regional Headquarters licence, marking a key step in establishing our RHQ in Saudi Arabia,” said Alzughayyar. “The foundation of our new regional headquarters in the Olaya District marks an exciting milestone for Epson as we continue to invest in the Kingdom.”

The Riyadh headquarters will work alongside Epson's Dubai headquarters as part of a wider regional network. Epson also plans to expand its channel partner network and market reach in Saudi Arabia, while enabling closer communication with its R&D operation in Japan.
