BeamZ Pro Nereid700 brings framing control outdoors
Designed for productions that need both punch and flexibility in challenging environments, the beamZ Pro Nereid700 Hybrid Outdoor Framing Moving Head combines a 750W white LED source with an IP65-rated housing for outdoor concerts, festivals and architectural applications.
The fixture covers a broad 3°–50° motorised zoom range, allowing it to shift from a tight beam to a wider wash. Its framing system uses four rotating cutting blades to shape the output, while an iris provides additional control over beam size. Endless pan and tilt movement are also included for continuous positioning effects.
The Nereid700's effects package includes separate static and rotating gobo wheels, with nine static gobos and seven indexable rotating gobos, alongside a 360° animation effect wheel. Two prism wheels provide either four-face circular or four-face linear effects, while light and medium frost filters can soften the output for wash applications.
Colour control combines a seven-colour wheel with independent CMY mixing and an adjustable CTO filter, covering colour temperatures from 2700K–6500K. The fixture's standard colour temperature is 6500K, with a CRI of 69, rising to CRI 90 when the CRI correction filter is used.
Control options include DMX512, RDM, master/slave and automatic modes, with both three- and five-pin DMX connections. An LCD interface provides access to fixture settings, while intelligent cooling supports operation in demanding environments. Measuring 390 x 310 x 788mm and weighing 36.45kg, the Nereid700 operates from 100–240V AC and is supplied with a mounting bracket and power cable.
