Cameo scales ZENIT G2 in both directions
At just 9.5kg, Cameo’s new ZENIT W300 G2 packages 14,000 lumens into what the manufacturer describes as its smallest second-generation ZENIT wash fixture. The new W1200 G2, meanwhile, pushes the same platform to 45,000 lumens for of large-scale outdoor applications.
The W300 G2 combines 21 50W RGBALC LEDs with 300W power consumption. Cameo's XColour technology provides calibrated colour mixing with a CRI of 98 and TLCI of 95, while vertical segment control allows individual areas of the fixture to be used for different looks and lighting effects.
At the other end of the range, the W1200 G2 uses 60 50W RGBALC LEDs and a 1,200W LED engine to produce up to 45,000 lumens. It shares the W300 G2's XColour system, CRI 98 and TLCI 95 performance and vertical segment control.
Both models use IP65-rated die-cast magnesium housings and Swiss-engineered cooling systems with selectable fan modes. NFC connectivity enables wireless configuration through the Cameo Connect App, which also provides access to firmware updates and support through the Adam Hall Service Portal.
Legacy Mode allows the new fixtures to operate alongside ZENIT G1 models with identical colours and looks, while the W300 G2 retains compatibility with filters, barndoors and mounting accessories from its predecessor. An optional SnapMag FX Filter adds electronic DMX-controlled frost for adjusting the beam angle.
