Techno Q integrates Arthur Holm into Qatar ministry
Motorised monitors and retractable conferencing components have been integrated into bespoke meeting tables at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s headquarters in Lusail Towers, Qatar, with Techno Q specifying the AV solution in collaboration with Arthur Holm.
The executive meeting rooms feature Arthur Holm DB3 motorised monitors in 17-inch and 22-inch formats, alongside DynamicTalk units customised in RAL 9005 black to match the displays and room interiors. The systems are designed to remain concealed when not in use, maintaining the appearance of the custom-designed furniture.
The DB3 monitors feature adjustable inclination, allowing screens to be positioned between 90° and 20° to suit viewing requirements while maintaining eye contact between meeting participants. Arthur Holm’s DynamicLoop HDMI daisy-chain distribution system is also incorporated into the displays, removing the need for external distribution hardware.
The DynamicTalk units were engineered for integration with Bosch’s Dicentis conference system. The specified components include the DCNM-FMCP Flush Microphone Connection Panel, DCNM-FMICB Flush Microphone Control Panel, DCNM-MICSLL Pluggable Long Stem Microphone, DCNM-FLSP Flush Loudspeaker Panel and DCNM-FSLP Flush Language Selector Panel.
Particular attention was paid to integrating the equipment into the meeting tables, which combine natural wood surfaces with marble centrepieces. The motorised monitors and conference components retract into the furniture when not required, leaving the table surfaces clear.
Techno Q designed and specified the complete solution, working with Arthur Holm to coordinate the technology with the architectural and interior requirements of the Ministry’s headquarters.
The installation provides executive meeting spaces equipped for conferencing and collaboration while keeping the AV infrastructure discreet. The combination of motorised displays, integrated microphone systems and HDMI distribution also reduces the need for visible equipment on the table, allowing the rooms to be used without the technology dominating the space.
