Shure appoints Next Visual as Malaysia UC partner

Concept Associates (KL) and Next Visual have introduced Shure’s IntelliMix Bar Pro at an experience day held at Next Visual’s Experience Centre in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, on 6 October. The event also marked Next Visual’s appointment as Shure’s dedicated Unified Communications (UC) partner.

The all-in-one video conferencing appliance is designed for medium-to-large meeting spaces. The showcase brought together enterprise clients, AV consultants and system integrators for live demonstrations and hands-on evaluations.

The event began with a remote session from Singapore, during which Gerald Lee, associate manager of market development at Shure SEA and Pacific, demonstrated the IntelliMix Bar Pro through the hardware itself. Attendees experienced its onboard IntelliMix AI-DSP algorithms for real-time noise reduction and de-reverberation, alongside a Quad 4K Camera Array supporting automatic framing and facial tracking.

A subsequent hands-on session in the centre’s huddle room allowed visitors to assess the hardware, including its edge-mounted camera optics, Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android (MDEP) security and ShureCloud management capabilities.

Under the partnership, Next Visual will distribute Shure’s enterprise UC portfolio, including the IntelliMix Room Kit series and IntelliMix Bar Pro. Concept Associates will provide technical engineering support and distribution services.
