Forté welcomes APAC country managers
To support its growth in the APAC region, Forté has appointed country managers in Australia, Singapore and the Philippines, respectively.
“Leadership transitions are an important part of the evolution of any organisation,” said Steve Medeiros, CEO APAC and Middle East at Forté. “With the right people in place in each of these markets, we are well-positioned to serve our clients with the best people and products in the industry.”
Based in Sydney, Heather Li rejoins Forté to lead the company's Australian operations. Li returns with a track record of leadership within the organisation, including previous roles such as regional business unit leader for Southeast Asia and head of new global account development.
According to Forté, Li’s understanding of the intersection of technology, collaboration, workplace design and user experience will be instrumental as the company builds on its current momentum in Australia.
Following his central role in stabilising and strengthening the Forté’s business in the country, Alvin Long has been promoted to country manager, Singapore. The company noted that Long and the Singapore team’s dedicated focus on operations and customer satisfaction have successfully built a more predictable and sustainable business foundation.
In his new role, he will lead the next phase of growth in the region, focusing on team development, deepening client relationships and driving strong market performance. “Alvin's promotion is well deserved,” said Dickson Ho, COO APAC and Middle East at Forté. “He has built a solid platform in Singapore and I am confident he will take the business to the next level.”
Assuming the position in the Philippines, Kyrex Bueza brings to the role key industry relationships, as well as experience in sales execution and building teams. Prior to his appointment, he spent two years with one of Forté’s key distribution partners, where he significantly broadened his expertise across the industry, its manufacturers and the wider supply chain ecosystem.
The company aims to leverage Bueza’s strengths to support its plans to expand its Philippine operations, deepen customer engagement and solidify its market position.
“Kyrex knows our business, our partners and our customers,” added Medeiros. “His experience across the supply chain makes him the right person to help accelerate our growth in the Philippines.”
