Lang ME hosts Disguise Dubai training
A Disguise video systems training programme was held by Lang Academy Middle East at their training facility in Dubai. The session was designed to give attendees an in-depth understanding of how the video systems work and the different ways they can be used within the industry.
The course was carried out over two days, and both days were at full capacity with attendees from rental and live events sector and SI.
The training course was led by Yuri Stranyov, a multimedia engineer and Disguise certified trainer, and Alexandra Coulson, Disguises marketing VP, was also present.
Attendees worked through the core designer software over two days. They started with the wider Disguise ecosystem, the interface and good file habits, then moved into the Stage window and working in 3D. From there they covered timeline sequencing, media formats and codecs, video and generative layers, bringing LED screens and projection surfaces into the stage and setting up virtual projectors.
Later sessions covered camera bookmarks and animation, layer grouping and keyframing, plus content mapping. Also covered were Content Arrows and Piping, the Feed Window, MIDI setup, d3Net and server roles, render modes, exporting video and stills.
“The course gave attendees a solid grounding in Disguise, taking them from first setup right through to delivering a finished project. All the feedback was overwhelming positive and requests for the next stage of Advanced training,” commented Oliver Luff, managing director at Lang Middle East.
