Switzerland:

To strengthen accessibility while respecting the building’s character, St Mauritius Church in Berg has implemented a dual technology assistive listening solution that serves telecoil users today and prepares the venue for Auracast audio in the future. The historic church, with medieval origins and a strong commitment to welcoming all members of its community, needed an assistive listening system that delivers consistent speech clarity throughout the seating area. The solution needed to integrate discreetly in a heritage environment and be designed for long-term reliability, straightforward maintenance and dependable support.

The installation combines an Ampetronic C10 1N hearing loop driver with an Auri TX2N Auracast broadcast transmitter. This approach reportedly provides two complementary accessibility options: induction loop coverage for telecoil users, delivering clear audio directly into hearing aids and cochlear implant processors with a T coil; and Auracast broadcast audio to support emerging compatible hearing devices and receivers, helping the venue remain accessible as listening preferences evolve.

“From commissioning to handover, our support team worked closely with the installer to ensure the system was configured, tested and fully documented,” explained Rob Bartlam, customer support manager at Ampetronic and Listen Technologies. “Pairing the Ampetronic C10‑1N with the Auri TX2N allows the system to deliver inclusive audio access for all users.”

During installation, the team carried out precise measurements and verification to achieve uniform magnetic field strength and strong speech intelligibility across the listening area. The system was installed by Swiss installation specialist muribaer, with close coordination between the installer, the project lead and Ampetronic engineering support to ensure the solution was commissioned, tested and documented for lasting performance. The final setup also ensures the equipment remains readily accessible for routine checks, maintenance and ongoing
