Signify and Bose Professional align lighting and audio

Southeast Asia:

Signify and Bose Professional have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop integrated lighting and audio solutions for customers across Southeast Asia, targeting applications in sports, entertainment, hospitality, retail and workplaces. The agreement will combine Signify’s professional and connected lighting portfolio, including Interact, Dynalite and Color Kinetics, with Bose Professional’s loudspeakers, amplifiers and ControlSpace audio ecosystem.

The partners will develop reference architectures, demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects, working with system integrators, consultants and channel partners. A joint 180-day action plan will define priority markets, initial projects and live demonstrations.

“In today's economy, experience has become one of the strongest differentiators a business can have,” said As Tempelman, CEO of Signify. “Stadiums, hotels, stores and offices are increasingly judged by how they make people feel, and light and sound shape that feeling more than almost anything else. This collaboration reflects our focus on connected lighting and on being a more customer-led company. Together with Bose Professional, we can help customers turn their spaces into lasting value.”

The collaboration will initially focus on stadiums, arenas and entertainment venues, alongside hospitality, immersive retail and experience centres, and flexible workplaces.

Jitender Khurana, CEO of Professional business for Southeast Asia and Far East at Signify, commented: “Across SEA, the spaces that win are the ones people remember, and light and sound sit at the heart of that. By combining Signify's connected lighting with Bose Professional's audio expertise, we can offer customers one integrated experience that is simpler to design, deploy and manage.”

Nittin Dargan, regional director – MEA and APAC (export) at Bose Professional, added: “Great sound and great light have always worked hand in hand, yet they are too often planned separately. Together with Signify, we will help integrators, consultants and venue owners across SEA create spaces that look, sound and feel exceptional, from hotels and retail to sports and entertainment venues. We look forward to delivering our first lighthouse projects together.”
