DisplayNote welcomes Ian Sinnamon

DisplayNote has appointed Ian Sinnamon as head of sales, bringing more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience from the enterprise software sector to the AV and collaboration technology market.

Sinnamon joins the company after leading global sales teams and go-to-market programmes. In his new role, he will oversee sales across direct and partner channels, supporting the expansion of DisplayNote’s experience layer software across enterprise and education markets.

Sinnamon’s responsibilities will include strengthening customer and partner relationships, developing the sales team and working with marketing, customer success and product teams to expand commercial activity.

“AV is increasingly part of a wider conversation around software, user experience, IT management and standardisation, particularly as organisations think about technology across entire estates rather than individual rooms,” said Ed Morgan, CEO of DisplayNote. “Ian brings considerable experience of how enterprise organisations buy software, how strong commercial teams are built and how direct and partner-led sales can work together. Combining that perspective with the AV expertise already within DisplayNote will be important as we take that proposition to more customers and partners.”

Sinnamon remarked: “I’m coming into the industry with plenty to learn, but also with experience that I believe translates well. DisplayNote already has strong technology, established industry knowledge and important partner relationships. My role is to build on those foundations and help create a commercial approach that supports the next stage of the company’s growth.”

The appointment comes as DisplayNote continues to develop its direct enterprise and partner-led business globally.
