Humly and Comeen by LumApps have partnered to combine meeting room hardware with workplace management software, enabling organisations to manage room bookings, improve space utilisation and access workplace analytics.

The integration connects Comeen’s workplace experience platform with Humly Room Display hardware, providing meeting room information and supporting workplace navigation. Employees can view room availability and book suitable spaces, while organisations can introduce booking rules and use analytics to understand actual room usage and reduce unoccupied bookings.

The platform also supports AI-powered room booking through Google Chat, Microsoft Teams and Slack, identifying suitable spaces based on availability, capacity, equipment and location.

“Organisations want workplace technology that works together seamlessly, regardless of the platforms and hardware they choose,” said Anders Karlsson, CEO of Humly. “Our partnership with Comeen strengthens Humly’s commitment to open integrations and workplace ecosystems that give customers greater flexibility. By combining Comeen by LumApps’s powerful workplace experience platform with Humly’s trusted hardware devices and future sensor capabilities, we are creating new opportunities for organisations to deliver smarter, more connected workplace experiences.”

The companies also intend to explore further integrations involving occupancy monitoring, environmental data and utilisation analytics through the Humly Sense open sensing gateway platform.

Ben Gauthier, general manager of workplace experience at Comeen by LumApps, commented: “This integration with Humly is a natural fit. Together, we can give organisations a seamless way to manage meeting rooms, improve visibility on available spaces and use workplace intelligence to reduce ghost meetings, understand real usage, and optimise every room.”
