Outline adds Bitfocus Companion plugin

A Bitfocus Companion native plugin has been released for Outline’s Newton FPGA-based digital signal processor for integration with any Elgato Stream Deck hardware control interface. Application-specific features aim to create simpler and quicker access points to most relevant functions of Newton’s workflow. Complementing desktop and tablet experiences, users can now upgrade their setup by including any Elgato Stream Deck model device.

With the plugin sitting at the crossroad of Newton’s and Elgato’s respective control protocols, the addition of any Elgato Stream Deck device provides added operational safety benefits. Any command imparted via Stream Deck pushbuttons will reach Newton to produce the intended effects. Other functions include patch monitoring and re-arm, source and clock redundancy, snapshot recall and discrete action-feedback indications.
