Masterpiece expands HARMAN partnership with Martin Professional

Masterpiece Professional has been appointed as a distributor for Martin Professional’s touring portfolio across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, extending its relationship with HARMAN Professional Solutions from professional audio into entertainment lighting.

Masterpiece began working with HARMAN in 2019, when it was appointed to represent the company’s professional audio brands across the region. The partnership expanded in July 2025, when Masterpiece began offering HARMAN’s complete professional audio portfolio in Saudi Arabia, including AKG, BSS, Crown, dbx, JBL Professional, Lexicon and Soundcraft.

The distributor operates experience centres on Airport Road in Dubai and in Riyadh’s Al Murabba district, where its second facility opened in February 2026. It also provides dealer and end-user training through its Masterpiece Academy seminars and has hosted HARMAN-supported events for the region’s AV, events, rental and touring sectors.

Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark, Martin Professional is known for its MAC moving-head fixtures, which are used across concert, theatre and broadcast applications. Its touring portfolio includes the MAC Ultra series, developed for large-scale concert and touring productions. London's Royal Albert Hall is among the venues using Martin equipment, with an inventory that includes MAC Ultra Performance and MAC Aura XIP fixtures. The manufacturer's latest compact beam fixture, the laser-sourced MAC One Beam, weighs less than 5kg and is aimed at lighting designers and rental companies.

“Our customers across the region already rely on us for HARMAN’s professional audio brands, and many of them run lighting and audio side by side,” commented Masterpiece general manager Simon Daniel. “Adding Martin’s touring portfolio allows us to support those production and rental businesses across both disciplines, with the same regional commitment they know from us.”

The appointment gives rental companies, production houses and lighting designers across the six markets an additional regional distribution channel for Martin Professional's touring fixtures.
