South Korea:

Professional audio and broadcasting solutions provider Koil Co deployed a range of LD Systems products at the 2026 Porsche Vibe Seoul festival, held last month at Oil Tank Park in Seoul. The two-day event, which combined automotive culture, music and lifestyle under the theme All Porsche, One Vibe, attracted approximately 15,000 visitors.

Koil, which serves as the South Korean distributor for the German audio manufacturer, supplied several systems across the festival site, with the MAUI P900 taking centre stage in the T2 Lower Section's 75Y Motorsport Gallery.

Developed in collaboration with Studio F A Porsche, the MAUI P900 is an active column PA system featuring a distinctive sculptural design alongside its audio technology. Positioned as both a sound solution and a premium interior design feature, the model was selected for the gallery, which showcased Porsche's 75-year motorsport history and heritage.

Four MAUI P900 units were installed, with two positioned at the main stage and two at the entrance. The systems complemented commemorative video content displayed on the gallery's main LED screen, bringing together Porsche's design aesthetic and LD Systems' audio technology.

Beyond the gallery, Koil designed additional systems to accommodate the different requirements of the festival's other spaces. The T1 Kids Zone, a play and relaxation area for families, featured two MAUI 11 G3 systems. Their integrated mixing functionality was suited to the space's limited footprint, while SysLink allowed the units to be connected. A dedicated app was used to control the various audio sources.

In the T2 Upper Section, two MAUI 28 G3 systems provided coverage for the outdoor performance and picnic area, which could accommodate up to 200 people. Audio was routed from an analogue mixer at FOH to the systems via XLR connections.

Koil said it was pleased to showcase the MAUI P900 at Porsche Korea’s official brand festival, highlighting the significance of presenting a product developed in collaboration with Studio F A Porsche. The company added that it aims to move beyond equipment supply by creating experiences that bring together premium brand identities and high-end audio.
