Abcom to distribute Q-SYS and QSC in Africa

Abcom Digital Kenya will now distribute the full Q-SYS and QSC portfolio across East and West Africa, expanding the availability of the manufacturers’ AV and professional audio technologies in the region.

The partnership combines Q-SYS’s integrated audio, video and control platform with QSC’s professional sound solutions, broadening Abcom’s portfolio for systems integrators working across a range of AV applications.

Based in Nairobi, Abcom will provide regional partners with product selection and project planning assistance, alongside technical support and hands-on training. Its Kenya team includes QSC-certified professionals and has access to a dedicated QSC training kit.

Abcom is also preparing to open a new experience centre in Kenya, which will provide facilities for product demonstrations and training. Further centres are planned across the continent, with Nigeria identified as the next location.

The appointment forms part of the distributor’s wider expansion plans in Africa, with the company aiming to strengthen its relationships with regional integrators and customers while increasing access to AV and IT technologies.
